STRUCTURE Safety Recalls

Under Review #20V658000 Plain English
Component

STRUCTURE:BODY:ROOF AND PILLARS

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The C-pillar is the column on the back of your Audi Q7, near the rear doors. The padding in this area helps protect you in a crash, but in some 2018-2020 models, it might not do its job.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're not wearing a seatbelt and crash into something, your head could hit the C-pillar, which could cause a serious injury.
Free Fix
Audi will replace the padding on your C-pillars with a new, safer design – for free. You'll get a notification and should schedule the fix with your Audi dealer as soon as possible.
