The bolt that connects the steering shaft to the steering gear in your Audi is a critical part. In some 2017-2019 Q7 and 2019 Q8 models, this bolt can come loose over time, affecting your ability to steer.

The side curtain air bags in your Audi Q7 are designed to protect you in the event of a side crash. Unfortunately, some 2019 models may not inflate properly.

What Happened
The C-pillar is the column on the back of your Audi Q7, near the rear doors. The padding in this area helps protect you in a crash, but in some 2018-2020 models, it might not do its job.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're not wearing a seatbelt and crash into something, your head could hit the C-pillar, which could cause a serious injury.
Free Fix
Audi will replace the padding on your C-pillars with a new, safer design – for free. You'll get a notification and should schedule the fix with your Audi dealer as soon as possible.
