What Happened
The fuel pump in your Audi Q8 or Q7 delivers gasoline from the tank to your engine. In some 2019-2021 models, a part inside the pump can break, causing it to fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump fails, your engine could stall while driving, making it hard to control your vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834 with the recall number 20DR.

Original — What Happened
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Audi Q8, and 2020-2021 Audi Q7 vehicles. A component inside the fuel pump may break, causing the fuel pump to fail.

Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 22, 2022. Owners may contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 20DR.
