Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:THROTTLEBODY/MANIFOLD
Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
The electronic throttle body in your Rogue is a complex system that helps control the air and fuel mixture your engine needs to run. In some 2024-2025 Rogues with the 1.5L turbo engine, the gears inside this system could break.
Risk if Unfixed
If the gears break, you could lose power while driving, making it harder to control your vehicle. This increases the risk of a crash, especially if you're driving at higher speeds.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will update the engine computer and inspect the throttle body. If it's faulty, they'll replace it for you at no cost. You'll be notified by mail with the details, but if you're concerned, you can contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261 for more information.
