What Happened
Your vehicle's fuel pump is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine in your 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, or other affected models. Unfortunately, this pump in your vehicle could fail without warning, causing problems.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails while you're driving, your engine could suddenly shut off, making it hard to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace the fuel pump module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 6, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are KGC and KGD. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall numbers 21V-215 and 20V-314.

What Happened
The low-pressure fuel pump in your vehicle is a critical part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain 2018-2020 models, this pump can fail without warning while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails on the road, your engine will stall, and you'll lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a collision.
Free Fix
Your dealer will swap out the faulty fuel pump for a reliable one at no cost to you. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

What Happened
The crossover pipe couplers in your Acura NSX connect the two fuel tanks. In some 2017-2018 models, these couplers can start to leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the couplers leak and there's an ignition source nearby, you could have a fire. A fuel leak is a serious situation that requires immediate attention.
Free Fix
Your Acura dealer will replace both fuel tanks with new ones, completely free of charge. You'll get a notification when the repair is ready – just bring your vehicle in for the fix.
