What Happened
Your vehicle's driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners might be faulty, which can cause the seat belts to not work properly in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're not properly restrained, you could get hurt more easily in a crash.

Nissan will replace the front seat belt assemblies for free, at no cost to you. You should contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or check your mail for a letter with the details.

Original — What Happened
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Rogue vehicles. The driver and front passenger seat belt pretensioners may have been incorrectly manufactured, which can cause the seat belts to not properly restrain occupants. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection," 209, "Seat Belt Assemblies," and 210 "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Improperly restrained occupants have an increased risk of injury during a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace the front seat belt assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 26, 2024. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PD105.

What Happened
Your vehicle's rear seat belt anchors might not be secure due to loose fasteners. This is a problem with a small metal part called the fastener that holds the seat belt in place.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat belt anchor fastener comes loose, it may not keep you safe in a crash, which could lead to injury.
Free Fix
Don't worry, this is free! The dealership will check and tighten the fasteners, and add labels to the seat belt attachment points so you know how to fix it if needed in the future. They'll do this at no cost to you.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Nissan Rogue vehicles. The fastener in the rear seat belt anchor attachment points may not have been tightened properly and can loosen over time.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A loose rear seat belt anchor fastener may not properly restrain an occupant in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and tighten the rear seat belt anchor bolts. Additionally, dealers will apply warning labels to the seat belt attachment points to indicate the bolt size and torque value required for any future seat belt repair. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 14, 2023. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669.
