What Happened
The lug nuts on your vehicle's wheels are the parts that keep them securely attached. In some 2026 Hyundai Elantra, Elantra Hybrid, Elantra N, and Venue models, these lug nuts can become loose and allow the wheel to come off.
Risk if Unfixed
If a wheel comes loose, you could lose control of your vehicle or even create a hazard on the road, which could lead to a crash or injury.
Free Fix
Your Hyundai dealer will inspect and tighten the lug nuts, and if needed, replace the hub bearing assembly, all for free. You'll receive a recall notice when the repair is ready to be done, and you can contact Hyundai's customer service if you have any questions.
