What Happened
The Anti-lock Brake (ABS) Module in your vehicle helps prevent your wheels from locking up during hard braking. This module could be damaged by water getting in and causing an electrical short.
Risk if Unfixed
If water gets into the ABS Module and sparks an electrical short, it could cause a fire in the engine compartment, even when your car is turned off. This increases the risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Hyundai dealer will add a protective relay to the main junction box to prevent electrical shorts and fires, all at no cost to you. This should be done as soon as you receive the recall notice.
