What Happened
The weight sensor in your front passenger seat helps decide when to turn off the airbag when you're not using the seat. It's connected to the airbag control module under the center console.
Risk if Unfixed
If the connector gets contaminated, the airbag could deploy even when you're sitting in the seat, which could cause serious injury from the deploying airbag.
