What Happened
The B-pillar impact sensor in your vehicle is a critical part that helps your airbag deploy in a side-impact collision. Unfortunately, some of these sensors were misassembled, which could prevent your airbag from working as intended.
Risk if Unfixed
If your airbag doesn't deploy when it should, you could be at risk of serious injury in the event of a side impact crash. This is a critical safety issue that we want to address as soon as possible.
Free Fix
Your Hyundai dealer will inspect and replace the faulty impact sensor(s) with a new one, free of charge. This repair is urgent, and we recommend scheduling it as soon as you receive the recall notice.
