Component
SEAT BELTS: REAR/OTHER:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY
Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
The buckles on the rear seat belts in your Rogue are the parts that secure you in your seat. In some 2021-2022 models, these buckles might not retract smoothly when you press the release button.
Risk if Unfixed
If the buckles don't retract properly, they might be hard to use in an emergency, which could leave you and your passengers without a secure seat belt. This increases the risk of injury in a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will inspect and replace the rear seat belts if needed, all at no cost to you. You'll get a notice in the mail by October 27, 2023, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you receive it.
