ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The instrument cluster in your Audi is like the control panel on your dashboard. It shows you vital information like your speed and warning lights. But in some 2021 models, a software glitch can make it fail to show you this info.
Risk if Unfixed
If the instrument cluster fails, you won't see your speed or warning lights. This could distract you while driving and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the software in the instrument cluster, which is completely free. You'll get a notice with all the details, but you can also contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 or reference recall 90VC.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The electrical connector in your Audi is like a plug that connects the door sensors to the airbag system. In some 2021 Audi A6, Q7, RS6, and RS7 models, this connector can come loose while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the connector comes loose, it could delay the deployment of your side airbags, curtain airbags, and seatbelts during a side crash. This means you're at greater risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will inspect and replace the door sensors on both front doors, at no cost to you, to ensure your safety features work properly. Schedule the repair once you receive the recall notice.
