FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE Safety Recalls

Critical #22V767000 Plain English
Component

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The high pressure fuel pump in your Wrangler, Ram 1500, or Gladiator is the part that delivers fuel to your engine. In 2020-2022 Wranglers, 2020-2022 Ram 1500s, and 2021-2022 Gladiators with 3.0L diesel engines, this pump can fail without warning.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails while you're driving, your engine will suddenly shut off, losing power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will replace the faulty pump and check the rest of your fuel system to make sure everything is working properly, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
