Component

SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

Manufacturer
CHRYSLER GROUP LLC
What Happened
The brake system in your Jeep Wrangler has a potential issue. The inner fender liner on one side of your vehicle could be rubbing against a brake tube, causing it to wear down and leak brake fluid.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake tube leaks, you could lose some brake power at one of your wheels, making it harder to stop. This increases the risk of a crash, especially on steep hills or when driving at high speeds.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will inspect and repair the brake system to prevent the tube from wearing down and leaking brake fluid — at no cost to you. You'll receive a notification with instructions on how to schedule the repair.

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Manufacturer
CHRYSLER LLC
What Happened
The automatic transmission in your Jeep Wrangler uses a special fluid to keep it running smoothly. In some 2007-2008 Wranglers, this fluid can get too hot, but there's no warning system to alert you.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fluid boils over, it could spill onto a hot engine or exhaust part and cause a fire. This is a serious situation that could lead to a vehicle fire.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will add a warning system to your Jeep's instrument cluster, so you'll know if the transmission fluid gets too hot. This warning will alert you to take care of the issue before it becomes a problem. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
