What Happened
The clutch assembly in your Wrangler or Gladiator is the part that helps connect and disconnect the engine from the transmission. In some 2018-2023 models with manual transmissions, this assembly can overheat and break apart.
Risk if Unfixed
If the clutch assembly overheats, it could catch fire, or pieces of debris could fall onto the road, causing a distraction and potentially increasing the risk of a crash, especially if you lose control of the vehicle.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the entire clutch assembly and update the software at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible, as you may have received a recall notice between November 16, 2023, and July 25, 2024.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe and 2022-2026 Grand Cherokee 4Xe vehicles. The high voltage battery may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire while parked or driving.

Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and not to charge their vehicles until the remedy is completed. What Happened
The rearview camera in your Wrangler helps you see behind your vehicle. The wiring harness that connects it to the camera and center brake light might get damaged, stopping the camera image from working and the brake light from lighting up.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't appear, you'll be driving blind, making it harder to spot objects or people behind your vehicle. If the center brake light fails, other drivers won't see your brake lights, increasing the risk of a rear-end crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the damaged wiring harness, free of charge, to get your rearview camera and center brake light working properly. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

The rearview camera on your vehicle is important for checking what's behind you when you're reversing. But in certain models, a software glitch can keep the camera image on the screen even after you've shifted out of reverse.

Free Fix
Your dealer will update the software in your radio display for free. You can also choose to do it remotely through an Over-The-Air update starting May 1, 2020, if you'd like. Either way, it's a free fix that you should take care of as soon as you get the recall notice.
