What Happened
The high-voltage battery in your Jeep Wrangler 4Xe or Grand Cherokee 4Xe powers your electric motor. In some 2020-2025 and 2022-2026 models, this battery could fail, causing a fire.
Risk if Unfixed
If the battery fails while your vehicle is parked or driving, it could catch fire, posing a serious risk of injury.
How to Get This Fixed
Free Fix
Your Jeep dealer will update the battery software and replace the high-voltage battery if necessary – completely free of charge. For now, park your vehicle outside, away from structures, and don't charge it until the repair is done.
