What Happened
The clockspring in your Jeep Wrangler's driver's side airbag is a critical part that helps the airbag deploy properly. In some 2008-2012 Wranglers, this part can break, causing the airbag warning light to come on and the airbag to not work as intended.
Risk if Unfixed
If the clockspring fails, your driver's side airbag won't deploy in the event of a crash, which means it won't protect you as it should. This increases the risk of serious injuries.
Free Fix
Your Jeep dealer will fix or replace the faulty clockspring for free. They'll notify you when it's time to take your vehicle in for the repair.
