What Happened
The driver-side floor liner in your Jeep Wrangler is designed to protect your carpets from dirt and spills. However, some liners made between 2012 and 2013 may have a weak spot that can tear when exposed to high heat, causing it to shift forward.
Risk if Unfixed
If the liner shifts forward, it could get in the way of your accelerator pedal. This might cause your vehicle to speed up unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the liner with a new one, or give you a special hook to keep your existing liner in place. Either way, the repair is free, and you should contact Quadratec to schedule it as soon as possible.
