What Happened
The low-pressure fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that delivers gasoline from the fuel tank to your engine. In certain models, this pump may fail and stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump fails, your engine could stall while driving, which could make it harder to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive a notice, and it will be done at no cost to you.

If the fuel pump fails, the engine can stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump assembly with an improved one, free of charge. Owners of specific models were notified that remedy parts were available starting January 21, 2021. Owners of other models will be notified as remedy parts become available. Remedy parts should be available for all affected vehicles by late March 2021. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-888-270-9371 or Lexus customer service at 1-800-255-3987. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 20V-012. Toyota's number for this recall is 20TA02. Lexus' number for this recall is 20LA01.

What Happened
Your vehicle's temporary spare tire is like a backup set of wheels in case the other one gets flat. But if it's not inflated to the right pressure, it won't perform as well as it should.
Risk if Unfixed
If your spare tire's not inflated correctly, it could slip or lose traction when you're driving, increasing the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check the pressure in your spare tire and adjust it to the correct level, free of charge. You'll get a notification from Gulf States, and you should schedule the adjustment as soon as possible.

Gulf States Toyota, Inc. (Gulf States) is recalling certain 2017 4Runner , 86, Avalon, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Corolla, Corolla iM, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Prius, Prius C, RAV4, RAV4 Hybrid, Sienna and Yaris vehicles. The spare tire air pressure was not adjusted to the proper pressure as stated on the Tire Pressure Label.

What Happened
The aftermarket windshield for your 2014-2018 Toyota Highlander has a wire harness that's prone to water damage. This could lead to electrical issues with your vehicle.
Risk if Unfixed
If water gets into the wire harness, it could damage your Engine Control Module. This might cause your engine to stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your service center will replace the windshield and inspect your Engine Control Module for damage. If it's damaged, they'll replace it too, all at no cost to you. You'll receive a notification about the recall, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you get it.

Fujian Wanda Automobile Glass Industry (Wanda) is recalling certain aftermarket Replacement Windshields sold for use in 2014-2018 Toyota Highlander vehicles. The windshields have an attached wire harness that water may leak into, possibly causing damage to the vehicle's Engine Control Module (ECM).

The ECM damage may result in the engine stalling, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Wanda will notify owners, and service centers will replace the windshields, and inspect the ECM for damage, having it replaced, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began January 29, 2019. Owners may contact Wanda customer service at 1-864-281-2760.

What Happened
The roof rail cross bars on your Highlander are held in place by special bolts. In some 2017 models, these bolts might not be tightened tightly enough.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bolts come loose, the cross bars could detach from your vehicle while you're driving, becoming a hazard on the road and possibly increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will check the bolts and tighten them properly, free of charge. You should schedule this inspection as soon as possible.
