What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In some affected models, this pump could fail without warning, causing your engine to stall while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails, your engine will suddenly shut off while you're driving, which could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump module at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and follow the instructions in the recall notice you received on September 6, 2024.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace the fuel pump module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 6, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are KGC and KGD. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall numbers 21V-215 and 20V-314.

What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that delivers gasoline to your engine. In some 2015-2018 models, tiny particles in the fuel can clog up the pump's moving parts.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump gets clogged, your engine could stall, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Acura or Honda dealer will update the computer system that controls your engine and fix or replace the fuel pump, all at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Acura MDX, 2015-2019 Acura TLX and 2015-2017 Honda Accord vehicles, equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine. Particulates in fuel may adhere to the internal components of the fuel pump, reducing its performance.

Reduced fuel pump performance can result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of crash.

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will update the fuel injection engine control unit (FI-ECU) software and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began March 25, 2019. Owners may contact customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Acura's recall number for this recall is P3W. Honda's recall number for this recall is N3X.

What Happened
The sensor in your passenger seat is designed to determine if a person is sitting there, so the front air bag deploys correctly in an accident. In some of your 2017-2022 Honda or Acura vehicles, this sensor can crack and fail, causing the air bag to deploy unexpectedly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag deploys unexpectedly, it could cause serious injury to your passenger. This could happen if you're involved in a crash, and the air bag inflates with too much force or at the wrong time.
Free Fix
Your Honda or Acura dealer will replace the faulty sensor with a new one, free of charge, as soon as you get a recall notice. This repair is urgent, so schedule it as soon as you can to ensure your passenger's safety.
