What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that delivers gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain models, this pump can fail without warning, which can cause your engine to stall while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails on the road, your engine will suddenly shut off — you'll lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump module with a new one for free, and you should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, which was mailed on September 6, 2024.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain 2015-2018 models with a 3.5L V6 engine, dirty fuel can stick to the pump's internal parts, making it work less efficiently.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump isn't working well, your engine could suddenly stall while you're driving. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will update the engine computer and replace the fuel pump, if needed, at no cost to you. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Acura MDX, 2015-2019 Acura TLX and 2015-2017 Honda Accord vehicles, equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine. Particulates in fuel may adhere to the internal components of the fuel pump, reducing its performance.

Honda will notify owners, and dealers will update the fuel injection engine control unit (FI-ECU) software and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began March 25, 2019. The front passenger seat weight sensor in your vehicle is a small computer that helps the airbag decide when to deploy. Unfortunately, this sensor can crack and malfunction in certain Honda models between 2016 and 2026.

If the sensor fails, your airbag could deploy unexpectedly during a crash, which could lead to serious injury.

What Happened
The battery sensor in your Accord is a small component that helps manage your 12-volt battery. In some cases, water can get into the sensor's case, which could cause an electrical short.
