SEATS:FRONT ASSEMBLY:SEAT HEATER/COOLER

Manufacturer
Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC
What Happened
The seat heaters in your vehicle have a copper strand heating element. This part is installed in some of the seats and warms them up on chilly days. But in certain models, this element can be damaged when you sit down, causing a problem.
Risk if Unfixed
If the heating element gets damaged, it could short circuit and start a fire in your vehicle. This is a serious risk, especially if you're driving or parked in a garage.
Free Fix
Your dealer will disconnect the seat heaters, so they're no longer a risk, and refund the money you paid for the accessory. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
