FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL Safety Recalls

Critical #23V263000 Plain English
Component

FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The high pressure fuel pump in your Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, or Ram 1500 is the part that delivers fuel to your 3.0L diesel engine. In certain 2021-2023 models, this pump can fail without warning while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails on the road, your engine will suddenly shut off — you'll lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will replace the faulty high pressure fuel pump and any additional fuel system parts that need it, at no cost to you. You'll get a letter with instructions on how to schedule the repair, and you should follow the steps to get it done as soon as possible.
