What Happened
Your Jeep's steering column is the part that helps turn your wheels when you turn the wheel. In some 2022-2023 Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models, the connection between the steering column and the joints that help it move can come loose, causing a loss of steering control.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens on the road, you could lose control of your vehicle, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Jeep dealer will inspect the steering column and replace the faulty parts, if necessary, at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
