What Happened
Your vehicle's brake master cylinder is a crucial part that helps control your brakes. The brake master cylinders being recalled are aftermarket parts, not original equipment, and were sold under various brand names.
Risk if Unfixed
If the master cylinder fails in very cold temperatures, brake fluid could leak out, making it harder to stop. This could lead to a longer stopping distance and a higher risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty brake master cylinder for free. This repair is at no cost to you and should be scheduled as soon as possible.
