What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain models, this pump could fail without warning while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails on the road, your engine will suddenly shut off — you'll lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it hard to control your vehicle and increase the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump module with a new one, free of charge. You should contact your dealer to schedule the repair as soon as possible.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

Dealers will replace the fuel pump module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 6, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are KGC and KGD. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall numbers 21V-215 and 20V-314.

What Happened
The fuel tank in your modified Honda Odyssey is the part that holds gasoline. In some 2018-2021 models, it might be more prone to overflowing and leaking fuel into the charcoal canister.
Risk if Unfixed
If fuel leaks into the charcoal canister and there's an ignition source nearby, it could cause a fire.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect your vehicle and replace the fuel tank assembly and charcoal canister for free if a leak is found. This repair is complimentary, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.

Original — What Happened
Braun Corporation (Braun) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Braun-modified Honda Odyssey vehicles. The fuel tank assembly installed by Braun may be susceptible to the fuel tank overfilling into the charcoal canister. If the charcoal canister fills with a sufficient amount of fuel, fuel may leak out.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of fire.
Original — Remedy
Braun will notify owners, and dealers will inspect vehicles. If evidence of a fuel leak is present, a new fuel tank assembly and a new Honda charcoal canister will be installed, free of charge. The recall began February 22, 2021. Owners may contact Braun customer service at 1-800-488-0359.
