Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP
Manufacturer
Delphi Automotive Systems, LLC
What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is the part that tells your fuel gauge how much gas you have left. In some 2005-2010 Honda Odyssey fuel pumps, the gauge can show a false reading, saying you have more gas than you really do.
Risk if Unfixed
If you fill up your tank but the gauge is broken, your vehicle could run out of gas unexpectedly while you're driving. This could cause your vehicle to stall, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump module with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and contact Delphi customer service at 1-877-411-8770 with the recall number GL14-004 for more information.
