SUSPENSION:FRONT

Manufacturer
HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.)
What Happened
The front right lower suspension damper bolt in your Odyssey is held in place by a nut that needs to be tightened to the correct strength. In some 2012 models made between October and November 2011, the nut might not have been tightened correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the nut loosens, your front wheel could shift inward, taking away your steering control. This could make it harder to drive safely and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check and tighten the nut to the correct strength, free of charge. Since this has already been done, you shouldn't need to take any action, but if you have any concerns, contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009.

Original — Remedy
HONDA CONTACTED ALL NINE OWNERS BY PHONE ON DECEMBER 19, 2011, AND REPAIRED THE VEHICLES AS NECESSARY FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009.

Manufacturer
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)
What Happened
The second row outboard seats in your Odyssey can move sideways to two different positions. This design allows them to attach to the floor in two ways, but if it's not done correctly, the seat might not stay secure when you brake hard.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seat tips forward when you brake hard, you could be at risk of injury from the seat or any objects in front of you.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will add a bracket to the floor strikers under the second row outboard seats to ensure they latch securely. This repair is free, and you'll get a notice with instructions on how to schedule it.
