Risk if Unfixed
If your vehicle stalls in certain conditions, you might be involved in a crash, which could be serious.
Free Fix
We'll fix it for you by updating the computer software at no cost, and you can schedule an appointment at any time.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE

Manufacturer
VOLVO CARS OF N.A. LLC.
What Happened
The central electronic module in your S80 or V70 controls many systems, including the windshield wipers. In some 2007-2008 models, the software in this module might not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the software fails, your windshield wipers could stop working when you need them most, like in rain or snow. In the worst case, they might even turn on unexpectedly when you don't want them to.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will update the software in your central electronic module for free. This should only take a short visit, and you'll be back on the road with working wipers.
