What Happened
Your Ram 4500 or 5500 has special tires that are only meant to handle speeds up to 87 mph. However, your vehicle's speed limiter is set to 106 mph, which could put you at risk.
Risk if Unfixed
If you drive faster than 87 mph, your tires could fail suddenly, losing traction and making it harder to control your vehicle, which increases the chance of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealership will update the electronic speed limiter to match your tires' maximum speed rating, ensuring a safer ride. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
