EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The trailer tow module in your vehicle controls the lights on your trailer. In some 2024-2026 Jeep and Ram models, this module is designed incorrectly, which could cause problems with your trailer lights and brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If the trailer tow module fails, your trailer's brake lights and turn signals won't work, making it harder for other drivers to see your trailer. This could lead to a crash, especially at night or in low-visibility conditions.
Free Fix
Your authorized Ram or Jeep dealer will replace the faulty trailer tow module with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and you can contact the dealer or FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403 for more information.

AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The air bag control module in your Ram truck is like the brain of your safety system – it decides when to deploy the air bag and seat belt pretensioner. In certain 2025 models, this software might not work correctly, which means the air bag and seat belt pretensioner might not protect you in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag and seat belt pretensioner don't work, you're at higher risk of getting hurt in a crash. Additionally, the electronic stability control system, which helps you stay on course, could fail while you're driving, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the chance of a collision.
Free Fix
Your authorized Ram dealer will update the air bag control module software, free of charge. This should be done as soon as you get the recall notice – it's a safety update that'll give you peace of mind on the road.
