EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The trailer tow module in your vehicle controls the lights on your trailer, like the brake lights and turn signals. In some 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S and 2025-2026 Ram trucks, this module was designed incorrectly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your trailer lights don't work, other drivers won't see your brake lights or turn signals. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially if your trailer brakes also fail. Without working trailer brakes, you could lose control of your trailer and put yourself and others in danger.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty trailer tow module with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and it's free to fix.
