Component
VISIBILITY:REARVIEW MIRRORS/DEVICES
Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US LLC)
What Happened
Your Dodge Journey's rearview camera helps you see what's behind your vehicle when you're in reverse. In some 2018 models, this camera might not show a complete view for a couple of seconds after you shift into reverse gear.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera delay makes it harder for you to see what's behind you, you could back into something or someone, increasing the risk of a collision.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will replace the rearview mirror with a new one that shows a complete view right away, at no cost to you. You'll get a notification when the repair is available, and you should schedule it to ensure your safety on the road.
