What Happened
The front brake discs in your X3 are the metal plates that help your brakes stop the vehicle. In some 2025 X3 30 xDrive models, these discs may have gotten damaged during shipping before they were installed on your car.
Risk if Unfixed
If the damaged brake discs aren't fixed, they could fail to stop your vehicle properly. This could lead to a crash, especially when you're driving at high speeds or in heavy traffic.
Free Fix
Your authorized BMW dealer will swap out the damaged brake discs and brake pads for new ones – all for free. You'll receive a notification letter on June 6, 2025, with instructions on how to schedule the repair.
