Risk if Unfixed
If this connection comes loose, your engine could stall while driving, making it harder to control your vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash. In the worst case, the loose connection could also cause a fire due to overheating wiring.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will check the starter-generator and battery cable to ensure they're secure, and make any necessary repairs at no cost to you. You'll get a second letter once the fix is available, but schedule a visit as soon as you receive the first notice.
