AIR BAGS:FRONTAL

Manufacturer
BMW OF NORTH AMERICA, LLC
What Happened
The frontal airbag system in your vehicle is designed to deploy in a severe crash to protect the front passenger. However, a small crack in the airbag mat could make it fail to deploy in a crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbag fails to deploy in a severe crash, it won't provide the necessary protection to the front passenger, putting them at risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will rework the airbag sensor mat to prevent cracks and ensure the airbag system works properly. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
