SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:DISC:CALIPER

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The brake caliper in your vehicle is a critical part that helps slow your car down when you press the brake pedal. In some 2018-2019 X3 and X4 models, the coating on the caliper pistons might be too thin, which could affect how well the brakes work.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brakes don't perform as they should, you could have a harder time stopping your vehicle, especially on steep hills or when driving fast. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will bleed the brake system to ensure the brakes are working properly, and this service is free. You should schedule an appointment as soon as possible to get your vehicle repaired.
