What Happened
Your vehicle's windshield wiper switch is the part that lets you turn on and off your wipers. In some 2013-2014 Camry, Avalon, and Corolla models, this switch can malfunction and short circuit.
Risk if Unfixed
If the switch short circuits, your windshield wipers could stop working, making it hard to see while driving, especially in the rain or snow, which could increase the chance of a collision.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will replace the faulty wiper switch assembly with a new one, at no cost to you. Just bring your vehicle in when you receive the recall notice.
