What Happened
The brake lines in your Navigator or Expedition are like the main water hoses that connect your brake system. In some 2022-2024 models, these lines can get damaged by the engine air cleaner outlet pipe.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake lines get damaged, you could lose part of your braking power, making it harder to stop your vehicle. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect the brake line and fix or replace it, along with the air cleaner outlet pipe if needed – all for free. You should schedule the repair once you receive the recall notice.
