What Happened
The Image Processing Module A in your Lincoln is like a computer brain that helps your rearview camera and safety features work. In some 2022-2025 models, this module can suddenly reset and lose its connection to the camera and safety features.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you won't see the rearview camera image, and your advanced safety features like automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring might not work. This could make it harder to spot hazards, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Lincoln dealer will update the software for the Image Processing Module A, so you'll get the rearview camera image and safety features back. This update is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
