What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is a crucial part that sends gasoline to the engine. The connectors that control the pump are made of plastic and can break down over time, creating a path for fuel to leak out.
Risk if Unfixed
If a fuel leak happens near an ignition source, like the engine or spark plugs, it could cause a fire, which is a serious safety risk.
Free Fix
Your fuel pump will be replaced by Airtex, at no cost to you. Your dealer or Airtex will contact you to schedule the replacement. When you get the notice, be sure to follow up to get this important fix done.

CERTAIN AFTERMARKET AIRTEX ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS INSTALLED FOR USE AS REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR CERTAIN 1997-2004 JEEP WRANGLER; 1997-2001 JEEP CHEROKEE; 1997-2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE; AND 2000-2003 DODGE DAKOTA VEHICLES. THE PLASTIC ELECTRICAL GROMMET CONNECTORS AT THE TOP OF THE FUEL PUMP MODULE ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AUTOMOTIVE FUELS AND MAY DEGRADE CAUSING A POTENTIAL LEAK PATH FOR FUEL.

What Happened
The intake and exhaust manifolds in your vehicle are like two tubes that direct air and exhaust gases to your engine. In some 4.0L engine models, debris can get stuck in one of these tubes, near the #3 cylinder.
Risk if Unfixed
If debris accumulates, it could cause a vehicle fire while you're driving, which is a serious safety risk.
Free Fix
Your authorized dealer will install a shield on the manifolds to prevent debris from accumulating, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-853-1403 if they don't get it done within a reasonable time.

What Happened
The fuel tank in your SUV has a vent tube that helps release pressure. In some vehicles, the weld that holds this tube in place might be weak.
Risk if Unfixed
If the weld fails, the vent tube could come loose, causing a fuel leak. If there's an ignition source nearby, like a spark, this leak could lead to a fire.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect your fuel tank and replace it if it was built during the suspect period. This service is free of charge, and you should schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
