What Happened
The fuse box in your vehicle is like a control center that helps power many systems, including the fuel pump. In some cases, a loose connection in the fuse box can cut power to the fuel pump.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel pump loses power while you're driving, your engine could stall without warning. This could cause you to lose control of your vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the entire fuse box with a new one, and this repair will be done free of charge. You'll receive a notice once the recall begins, and you should schedule the repair right away.

Original — What Happened
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, A LOOSE TERMINAL IN THE MAIN FUSE BOX MAY CAUSE THE FUEL PUMP TO LOSE POWER. IF THE FUEL PUMP BECOMES INOPERATIVE, THE ENGINE MAY NOT START.

IF THE FUEL PUMP LOSES POWER WHILE DRIVING THE ENGINE COULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Original — Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE ENTIRE FUSE BOX FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 13, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HONDA AT 800-999-1009 OR ACURA AT 1-800-382-2238.
