What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is like a pump that sends gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain models, corrosion can damage the electrical connection to this pump.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails without warning, your engine will shut off while driving, making it hard to control your vehicle. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect the fuel pump's electrical connection and replace the pump if necessary, at no cost to you.

Original — What Happened
ON CERTAIN MINIVANS, THE FUEL PUMP MAY FAIL DUE TO CORROSION OF AN ELECTRICAL TERMINAL.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
IF THE PUMP STOPS WORKING, EHT ENGINE WILL STALL WITHOUT WARNING, AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR.
Original — Remedy
DEALERS WILL CHECK THE ELECTRICAL COUPLER TERMINAL OF THE FUEL PUMP. IF ANY CORROSION IS FOUND, THE PUMP WILL BE REPLACED. THE RECALL BEGAN SEPTEMBER 27, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HONDA AT 1-800-999-1009.
