Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
The amber side reflex reflector in your Dodge Journey's headlamp is a small component that helps make your vehicle visible to other drivers at night. In some 2017-2018 models, this reflector may not be bright enough.
Risk if Unfixed
If your reflector is dim, it could make your vehicle harder to spot when you're driving at night, and that increases the risk of a crash with other vehicles.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the entire headlamp assembly with a new one that meets safety standards, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
