ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE

Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US LLC)
What Happened
The engine cover in your Dodge Journey is a protective shield that sits on top of your engine. In some 2011-2015 models with 2.4L engines, this cover could come loose and hit the exhaust manifold.
Risk if Unfixed
If that happens, there's a higher risk of a fire breaking out in your vehicle, which could cause serious damage or harm.
Free Fix
Your dealer will install a new, improved bracket to hold the engine cover securely in place, and it won't cost you a thing. Just wait for the notification letter and schedule the repair when you get it.
