What Happened
The part that connects your brake pedal to the brake system in your ATS or CTS is a metal bracket. In some cases, this bracket can break, causing problems with your brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bracket breaks, you won't be able to press the brake pedal all the way down, which means you won't be able to stop your vehicle as quickly as you should. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will inspect the bracket and replace it if it's faulty, at no charge to you. Just take your vehicle to the dealer when you get the recall notice.
