STEERING:ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST SYSTEM

Manufacturer

What Happened
Your vehicle's electric power steering is a system that helps you turn the wheels with less effort. In some 2016-2018 Cadillac CTS, ATS, Camaro, and Corvette models, this system could stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If power steering fails, you'll need to work harder to steer the vehicle, especially at low speeds. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially in tight spaces or emergency maneuvers.

Your dealership will replace the power steering gear assembly with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule this free repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
