What Happened
The fuel supply line in your Audi A8 or S8 is a tube that delivers gasoline to the engine. Over time, it can develop tiny holes and start leaking fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line leaks while your car is parked or driving, it could come into contact with an open flame, such as a cigarette or spark from a faulty ignition. This could cause a fire.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will install a new fuel pressure damper to prevent leaks, at no cost to you. The repair is free, and you should contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 to schedule the fix.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Audi A8 and S8 vehicles. The fuel supply line for the high pressure fuel pump may become porous and leak fuel.

What Happened
The fuel supply line in your Audi S8 or A8 is a critical hose that brings gasoline to the high-pressure fuel pump. Over time, this line can become porous, allowing fuel to escape.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel supply line develops a leak and there's an ignition source nearby, like a spark or flame, it could cause a fire.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty fuel supply line with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
