What Happened
The fuel supply line in your Audi A8 or S8 is a tube that delivers gasoline to the engine. Over time, it can develop tiny holes and start leaking fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line leaks while your car is parked or driving, it could come into contact with an open flame, such as a cigarette or spark from a faulty ignition. This could cause a fire.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will install a new fuel pressure damper to prevent leaks, at no cost to you. The repair is free, and you should contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834 to schedule the fix.
