What Happened
The fuel supply line in your Audi A8 or S8 is a critical part that helps deliver gasoline to your engine. Over time, this line can develop tiny holes that let fuel escape.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line leaks, it could start a fire near the engine, which is extremely serious and could cause serious injury or property damage.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will add a special fuel pressure damper to prevent leaks, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.

Original — What Happened
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2013-2016 Audi A8 and S8 vehicles. The fuel supply line for the high pressure fuel pump may become porous and leak fuel.

Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, increases the risk of fire.
Original — Remedy
Audi has notified owners, and dealers will install a fuel pressure damper, free of charge. The recall began February 21, 2019. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 20BM.
