Component
VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER
Manufacturer
VOLVO CARS OF N.A. LLC.
What Happened
The wiper arm in your vehicle is a critical part that helps you see the road. It's the long rod that swings back and forth to clear snow and water from your windshield. In extreme winter weather, it could slip off its axle and get stuck, making it impossible to move the wipers from the park position.
Risk if Unfixed
If your wipers are stuck, you'll have no way to clear the snow and water from your windshield during a snowstorm. This could severely impair your visibility, making it hard to see the road and potentially leading to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volvo dealer will replace the wiper arms and retaining nuts for free. This is a complimentary repair, so you won't have to pay anything. Schedule an appointment as soon as possible to get this essential fix done.
